Horiba Group has appointed Jamie Jones as business development engineer. Mr Jones, a qualified mechanical engineer with 15 years' experience in microelectronics, will be developing sales in the semiconductor industry for the group's Horiba, Jobin Yvon and STEC brands. Based in Erskine, Mr Jones, 38, will set up a new Scottish office for the Japanese company, whose UK headquarters are in Northampton. "The semiconductor industry is currently buoyant, and Horiba is well placed to service this market," he said. Mr Jones, who is married with two children, Marc (10) and Rebecca (5), plays golf and is a passionate football fan. |
